01 · Context

Connecting the engineering office’s admin.

Invoices were prepared in Excel. Jobs, their stages and incoming payments needed shared tracking.

I designed the application around the person who handles this admin day to day: find a job, prepare a document and know what is still to be paid in.

02 · Design

From the quote to cash-flow tracking.

01

Keep the data on the computer

The application uses local storage, atomic writes and rotating backups. Day-to-day management does not depend on a cloud service.

02

Connect the stages of the trade

A quote can become an invoice, carrying over its lines and its job. Payment statuses then feed the cash-flow tracking.

How it works

Inside KPRO Cockpit.

03 · Delivery

Day-to-day management, on the computer.

The delivered scope

  • Client management and job tracking by stage.
  • Quote creation, conversion to invoice and payment tracking.
  • Expenses, attachments, PDF and Excel exports.
  • Local backups and a command palette.

What it changes

Quotes, invoices and payments received in one place, instead of an Excel workbook that grows every month.

The data stays on the computer. No account to create, no subscription, nothing sent to a third party.
